In 1993, Skip’s Candy Corner was opened in Peddler’s Village, Lahaska, PA. At that time, we were located in the yard, Shop #1. Some of our favorite pieces of candy were made on the second floor.

Over the years we outgrew that location, and moved to our present, larger shop in Peddler’s Village. This location is on Street Road, Shop # 27. A larger store, with three floors, has allowed us to offer more products to our
customer. Additionally, customers can view candy and fudge being made from the middle level of the shop.

In August 2011 we expanded again and now used shop #23A as our Peanut / Tree Nut Free Facility, Skip’s Sugar Shack, this was located directly across the street from our retail store. At this location we were able to manufacture all our Peanut & Tree Nut Free products.

January 2013 we took our Peanut & Tree Nut Free line wholesale under the name Skips Candies.
Skips Candies is currently in PA, NJ, NY, DE, OH, CA, ME, IL, MA, OK & CT

As demand grew for our product, we realized we needed a larger space. In May 2014 we moved Skips Candies to a larger manufacturing location. This location is our dedicated Peanut & Tree Nut Free manufacturing facility and is located in Doylestown PA. Our products are currently in 50 shops throughout 10 states.

NOW OPEN – Doylestown retail location.

Presently, three generations are involved with the day to day operations of the business.
